Learn why Dr Matthieu Poudevigne, who trained as a Doctor from 2010 to 2016 at the University of Southampton became a Freemason...

I joined freemasonry for the camaraderie and friendships. Training as a Doctor requires frequent relocation in order to experience a wide range of specialties and working environments, as well as long hours. I joined freemasonry so that when relocating to a new city and I would immediately be part of tight network of people who would welcome me. I have not been disappointed and have found meetings great to get away from medicine. I have loved hearing people’s stories, visiting new lodges and making lasting friendships and connections in cities and lodges I have visited.
